FauxCon 8 - confounding our enemies and delighting our friends

Wat's Mine is Mine

by Garry Milbourn and Amanda O'Shannessey

"So, we'd like travelled for a few days with the GM rolling random encounters and finally got there. Oh yeah, it was meant to be a mine, but it was just a dungeon really. I can't even remember why we were meant to be there - some sort of mystery I think, but given the character backgrounds were shorter than their equipment list, it was really just a bit of flavour text."

"So, anyway, we're skulking through these 10' x 10' corridors, and the elf - um, I can't remember her name, the one with the gold bow and silver arrows - fails some sort of saving throw and starts shooting people. Its obviously meant to be like a major part of the plot, but Dave just attacked her, and rolled like a critical and then max damage, and cut her in half. This was about 1/2 way through and it all went a bit off the rails from there."

A single session D&D scenario for 4 players.
