Poor Kurdish rebel barely kept his family fed
An' then one day, he was shootin' at some food,
An' up thru the ground came a bubblin' crude.
Oil that is! Black gold! Texas tea!

When Musharrif finds that his ancestral home is literally awash with crude oil, it suddenly shoots the al-Sayyid clan into the interntional limelight. Moving to a mansion near the Turkish border, join the plucky al-Sayyid family in their whacky adventures with Shi'ite political heavies, Sunni refugees, Turkish army commandos and the always looming threat of American "friendly fire".
