A walk in the Black Forest

Mary's throwing a picnic! and everyone's invited. It will be such a grand affair, with ginger ale and fairy cakes, games to play and fun to be had!

Everyone's been in such a state after the Christmas feasting that there hasn't been a single party in such a long time. Mary has asked the Gallaghers and the Ropers, the Smiths and the Tonkins - it will be such lark.

We will stroll along through the countryside, saying hello to Mr Lizard and to Mrs Bird. Perhaps we will find a pleasant stream to spend a time by, or a high perch atop rocks to view our loverly parklands.

Its going to be such a lovely day! We can toast marshmellows on an open fire, or perhaps splash in secluded streams. I'm sure that it will be sunny and bright, perfect weather for a picnic!

The lost parties apparently left their assembly point sometime yesterday afternoon. They had expressed a desire to find somewhere to engage in a picnic and associated activities. They have not left a stated destination with any external individuals, and in fact intimated that their preferred mode was to select a course and final resting point randomly.

As I am sure you are all aware, we have had reports of outbreaks of wildfires in this vicinity. The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued a warning regarding the possibility of lightning strikes and flashfloods for the area. We are on a short timeline to find and recover these missing individuals. Thank you for your time, Constable Matton will explain how the search will proceed.
