Yet when Mr Soggoth arrives to clean the pool in Doit's renovated mansion, the injunction goes unheeded. What strange events will unfold beside the pool, on the pool table or in any of the newly painted bedrooms? And what of Mr Hastur, who insists on painting the main bedroom yellow? Or Doit's annoying neighbours and their incessant piping?
