Fermat's Unfinished Theorem

"Four is perfect stability, the solid basis for all to build upon. Where thence goes stability when four becomes five?"
- Pythagoras, 243BC.

Four theoretical mathematicians grapple with the weighty matters of solving one of the great unanswered questions of the millennium. Can they succeed where so many have failed before? Can they do it within the bounds of Neo-Edwardian society before they become too deeply enmeshed in what will soon become a spiraling zeitgeist of politics, trechery and formulae?

Mississippi Murder Mysteries

Wile E. Coyote Productions presents a five-session role playing game using the Call of Cthulhu system. Each session is a separate scenario, but can be played in order as an epic adventure. Play one, some or all! The five parts are:

MMM1: The Clampetts

Come 'n listen to my story 'bout a man named Jed.
Poor Mountaineer barely kept his family fed.
An' then one day, he was shootin' at some food,
An' up thru the ground came a bubblin' crude.
Oil that is! Black gold! Texas tea!

Well, the first thing ya know, Jed's a millionaire.
Kin-folk said, "Jed, move away from there." Said
Californy is the place y'oughta be, so they
loaded up the truck, and they moved to Beverly.
Hills that is! Swimmin' pools, Movie stars!

Four years on and life's a real kick.
But here's a message saying kinfolk are sick.
Driving down to Greenville didn't take very long,
But when he got down there he found something else was wrong.
Murder, that is. Knives behind backs. Poison soup.

Long service leave! Three weeks of anything except junkies, robberies and murders. Ahh! To relax on the beaches of Florida. Or maybe California? Somewhere, anywhere, except this place. Anywhere away from Trabajo's dulcet tones.

What's this? Huggy's been arrested for murder? In New Orleans? And he wants us to come sort it out?

New Orleans sounds pretty cool...

Once Upon a Time there were several little girls who went to the Police Academy. They were each assigned very hazardous duties. But I took them away from all that and now they work for me. Two weeks ago, I sent Kris Munroe to St. Louis on a routine assignment to investigate a theft. I haven't heard from her since. My name is Charlie, and I want my angel back!

MMM4: Murder By Moonlight

It all began in Moline, Illinois. Gavin Hooper, a local restauranteur and businessman, suspected that his partner Reggie Deale was embezzling profits from their successful restaurant. He contacted the Agency to hire a detective to investigate Deale's activities. David's first few days on the case were mildly successful - Deale had been seen talking to one of Gasto Hennis's goons. Of course, David was well aware that Hennis was a bookie, moneylender and general two-bit scum. Unfortunately, David was spotted spying on Deale, and now he's on the run. Hennis even knows something is up.

A simple spying case is one thing. A man hunt down the Mississippi, with thug heavies on the side, is quite another. This will take all of Blue Moon's resources, but are Agnes and Herbert up to it?

Steele Deception

Try this for a deep dark secret: The great detective Remington Steele... He doesn't exist. I invented him. Follow: I'd always loved excitement, So I studied and apprenticed, and put my name on an office. But absolutely no one knocked on my door. A female private investigator seemed so... feminine. So I invented a superior. A decidedly masculine superior. Suddenly there were cases around the block. It was working like a charm. Until the day he walked in, with his blue eyes and mysterious past. And before I knew it, he assumed Remington Steele's identity. Now I do the work, and he takes the bows. It's a dangerous way to live, but as long as people buy it, I can get the job done. We never mix business with pleasure. Well... almost never. I don't even know his real name!

Now we're both on the trail of a missing husband. The client thinks her husband's cheating on her. I've tracked him as far as Memphis, but I've lost the trail there. It should be a simple case... as long as he keeps his mind on the job.

Walking Against The Wind

A Rolemaster scenario for 4 players, by mime64@hotmail.com.

"In the world of mimes, you are a god."
- Queen Victoria.

The strongest wind does not stop you.
The largest glass box can not hold you captive.
The yappiest invisible dog lays at your feet.
Paris quivers at your steps.

And thus...
When the High Chiefs of Marceau are captured by the Gods of Pan T'Myne,
the people turn to you to free them from their silent slavery.
