FauxCon 8 - confounding our enemies and delighting our friends
meatwarrior!

The Fauxcon Meatwarrior challenge is a single-figure competition for 24 players. The competition will be run on a draw basis, and you will face 8 other players over the tournament.

Figures must be created from butcher-available meat and brought to the convention on ice. This year, under no circumstances is any meat to be drawn from animals considered 'pets' (as defined by council regulations). Figures which are unable to stand without collapsing or deliquiescing will be disqualified.

Entrants will be given a 2 hour window in which to fish in the Murray for last minute components, and extra points will be awarded for unusual or native components.

The main competition will be for objective points, and a multiplier for outbound outcomes will be applied. Extra points will be awarded for marinades, themed figures and props, and kosherness. Any infestation will be considered "pilots" and cost points appropriately.

Each entrant has 1000 points to use on their figurine. Components with bones are worth 75 points each, chitinous components are 100 points. All remaining components are 25 points per 100g. To avoid the problems with internal structures we had last year, all figurines will be xrayed to check for metal reinforcements.

The winner will receive a $100 gift voucher for Bongo's Butchers, and as is traditional, the loser will be fed the winner's BBQd figurine.
